Merton House Holiday Hotel

I have just returned after a weeks stay with a friend at Merton House Holiday Hotel. I cannot express how much we enjoyed ourselves. The staff were friendly and so helpful. The food was excellent, comfy beds and our room with a view across the river Wye was perfect. The garden had plenty of seats and the trips to nearby beauty spots a lovely bonus. Walking distance to Ross-on-Wye centre completed an amazing experience. Thank you for that extra personal touch and a very restful stay.

Great Hotel, catering for accessible holidays for disabled and elderly people. Great views of the River Wye, Fab and Friendly staff. Highly recommended.

I had a wonderful time it was just what i needed have booked two holidays there for next year. The staff were lovely and very helpful . The food was outstanding, plenty of choice. I had the accessible room with wetroom. Plenty of room for a wheelchair to get around. There was trips out every day( you pay extra for them) and entertainment at night. Fantastic views from the conservatory of the river 7.

Absolutely amazing place in the most beautiful and picturesque of locations. From start to finish we were treated with care, compassion, and professionalism. The hotel itself is lovely with beautiful period features of an age gone by. The staff are absolutely brilliant. They are so polite and courteous, which is representative of the hotel. Food, home cooked and delicious. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel for people wanting a relaxing trip away in beautiful Herefordshire.

We needed a relaxing holiday and Merton House was everything we hoped it would be. Comfortable room, beds, lounges, caring and helpful staff. Good food and trips out. Have already booked another holiday at this lovely Hotel.

Had an amazing weeks holiday here. All staff were so friendly, helpful , giving any assistance where needed. Room was wonderful. Food absolutely splendid. We were made so , so welcome by everyone working here. Highly recommend it. The accessibility of this hotel met all our needs. Staff went out of their way to accommodate our individual needs and wishes. The grounds are beautiful with amazing views. Thank yoy so much everyone, for all you cared to do .

I have just spent a lovely week at Merton House Hotel. ROSS ON WYE. This is about my 4th visit. Since I lost my lovely husband earlier on in the year I have felt lost and lonely. But the staff at this hotel are wonderful. Specially Kelly who spent time with me when I was upset. The food is great in fact I cannot fault this hotel for disabled people like me. Thank you. To all the staff there.

Our group recently stayed at this hotel for the 4th time! On this occasion we booked the whole hotel which was wonderful and gave us more flexibility. Each year we review our visit and consider finding somewhere different for the following year but to be honest, nothing could match Merton House Hotel. The hotel is comfortable and suitable for our member's physical health and mobility needs; the staff are absolutely wonderful and do everything they can to ensure a good time and the food is delicious and plentiful. We always find different places to visit during our stays, supported magnificently by the excellent minibus drivers. It would be unfair to name individuals as every member of the team is fantastic but, it is through the leadership of the Manager, Kelly, that this hotel provides everyone the chance to have a holiday to treasure.
